Heritage Hotels was once again recognized as Kenya’s Leading Safari Camp Brand at the World Travel Awards – the fourth since 2014 – to cement a glowing legacy of unbridled benchmark of service in safari and leisure products in East Africa.
The Great Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort was – for the first time – awarded Kenya’s Leading Resort 2019, beating five other nominees to add a feather to it’s growing accolades.
During the glamorous 26th awards gala ceremony for Africa & Indian Ocean held in Mauritius, Kenya’s premier golf, family and business resort was again recognised for setting global standards and leading Kenya’s tourism offering.
“Our inaugural ceremony in Mauritius has proved an incredible success. We have had the privilege of recognising the leading destinations, hotels, resorts, airlines and travel providers from across Africa and the Indian Ocean and my congratulations to each of our winners.” said Graham E. Cooke, chairman and founder of the World Travel Awards.
Heritage Hotels has previously bagged the 2014, 2017 and the 2018 awards. Great Rift Valley Lodge has been awarded Kenya’s Leading Golf Resort in 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012; and nominated Africa’s Leading Eco Hotel 2013 and Kenya’s Leading Conference Hotel 2019, amongst others.
